I decided to give 4 wheel parts a call today and get a quote on the 4" lift,
rsx9000 shocks, 20x9 kmc hoss wheels, and 37x13.50x20 toyo open country m/t's. The guy said the best price he could work me out would be $5,700 bucks shipped . I know i can get everything i want alot cheaper than that. $5,900 bucks is just outragous!

I know you've got your heart set on a lift...but why?

the 04+ F-150 can fit 35's with just a 2.5" leveling kit. and later, you can slap a 6" lift ontop of the 2.5" puck and fit 37" tires

seems a better place for your money would be 35" tires and new rims

just my .02 cents...I'm actually going to get some today I think

edit: whoops, I just saw your sig and noticed you already had some 35" on there.

$1500 with shocks and free shipping is amazing I'd be all over it.

I was reading earlier that The rancho lift increases the front tread width. Is this true? Does anyone notice their front wheels sticking out further than their rear wheels?

dont wanna go that high, You also have to consider that going higher i would need bigger tires than 37's and that would also be upping the cost, I got a tight budget considering i am only 17 years old.

Yes, the Rancho kit does increase the front track width by about an inch over the rear wheels. Here's a pic of my truck.....it's not very noticeable though:

The wheels have 5.75" of backspacing.

When I looked at Autoanything, I looked at the Rancho kit and it states that it does "not" come with the shocks. They are an additional $100 ea.

Copenhagen848 is correct. If you look at the Rancho photos you can see there is 1" spacer.
