I should have put it this way. I love my F150, I seriously have no complaints. I use it to pull my trailer with between 2-4atvs sometimes. I have pulled a dodge dakota on a dual axle utility trailer once, without issues. Load the bed down with mulch for around the house. The truck gets the job done. And rides much smoother than a 7000lb diesel tank. Although I'd love to have a F250 because it's a beast, has tons of power, looks great (the new models) and the engine lasts forever. I used to have a cummins 2500 4x4 but sold it years ago.

The F150 is a great truck that rides smooth and handles well. The F250 is a beast but I just don't NEED it at this time. Maybe in 5 years when I get a bull dozer and buy some land I will, but for now a diesel to haul 4atvs is WAY overkill and just blowing money in my eyes.

If you could afford both vehicles than it should be an easy decision...

If you don't need the power and torque, don't get a diesel.

I just got creamed by a cummins the other night, he too was lifted and chirping the tires the entire pull we had...I should have never waisted money on bolt-ons. Seems a bolt-on on a diesel will net you many times the power a gasser would.

If I had to do it again, I'd wait until the Rize 8" came out, throw the Edge tuner, exhaust and remove my rear cats. I'll never have another truck without navigation and headrest monitors however, I'm enjoyin that mod.

My point is never settle on powertrain, if a diesel is what you want, thats what you should get.
