Ebc Problems...what To Do???

Ok, Heres the story... I put a set of EBC sport rotors on the front of my 2004 F150 Supercrew 4x4 about 400 miles ago. I cleaned the hub and torqued the wheels properly. I am getting a bad shutter when braking lightly at 60 mph. EBC says these rotors can be cut but I am a little worried how they will react on the lathe considering the slots and dimples. Dont know why this would happpen with such little use. I have been very easy on them. Do you think I should cut them and put new pads on? These were very expensive rotors and I would hate to destroy them but then again my truck vibrates like crazy. How much would be a good amount to remove? And should I turn them at all? Thanks for your help!

I think you received a bad set or you didn't install them correctly. I wouldn't be turning rotors that I just paid good money for them to work correctly.

I am pretty sure I installed them correctly. Torqued the wheels and cleaned the moundting surface. Think I just got a bad rotor. Idk we will see...

Unless you either used an impact wrench to tighten your lug nuts, or you got the rotors hot and then ran them through water, there is no good reason that the rotors should be warped at 400 miles.

I'd say you got a bad rotor from EBC...
