Relatively new member, with the new Hotness!

Hi to all the F-150 fanatics like me around here. Just took delivery of my new F-150 S-Cab yesterday, and love it.

Many thanks to 06_Sandstone, and the F-150online community in general for being a great resource for research on Fords.

Here she is:

Little Update:

Those 22" Giovannas are coming off as we speak. I am not spending $3300 on a set of rims and tires, especially when they negatively affect my towing ability. I'll also be adding some black powder coated side steps and a drop in bedliner soon as well.

Sounds good but I strongly advise against a drop in liner. Do a spray in, you wont regret it!

X2!

I had a spray in in my '04 Ranger and I have a drop in in the '05 F-150. The drop in lets stuff slide all over the place, it's easy to crack/tear/gouge, the tailgate piece is warped and doesn't lay flush... I hate it. It came w/ the truck and until I'm ready to have one sprayed, I'm leaving it as it is better than nothing... or is it????

Good looking truck. Welcome to the site!!!

I think it looks good with the wheels, I wouldn't take them off.

Another vote for the spray-in bedliner. Best thing you can do to protect your truck and the items that will be in the bed.

As much as I appreciate the opinions here, I believe I am going to go with the Dualliner Drop In(sort of) bed liner.

On another note, I am jones'in seriously for my truck. I had to take it back yesterday to have them do some repairs on it that were evident upon delivery. I went to open the power sliding rear window, and the cable for it got caught on the child safety seat strap, and pulled off the track. They were also going to clean off the glue around the trim piece around the moonroof opening, and make sure that it didn't come off again, and also repair a rattle in the passenger side window when it rolls down. Oh, and they are supposed to fix a couple scratches "properly". They told me it would be two days, and here it is, almost the end of the 2nd day, and I don't have it back yet.
