Hard Decisions

Hey guys,

Lately I have been going back and forth on what to do to my truck... I really wanna do some stuff to it but I just dont know what to do to make it look better. It needs new tires really soon so I could either go two ways. It is a 2wd.

1. Lower rear 2" with GF Shackles and get new tires just like the ones that are on it.

2. Lift front 2" with AS Leveling Kit then get some Nitto terra grapplers or tires of that kind on my 20 inch rims that are on it now.

I do not know if my truck would look good with a lift. What do you guys think?

Next,

1. Paint honeycomb grill black and leave grille overlay. Save money leaving me to do other things.

2. Buy Roush grill

I am only 16 with a job at a pizza resturant so money IS an issue. lol.

level it with slightly bigger tires. paint the grill first. see how you like it. then consider roush grille.

Isn't this like your 4th thread saying you don't know what to do to your truck??? Put the AS on and bigger tires

Are you Polish? If not then I wouldn't lift it being its a 2wd. Level it with drop shackles.

Hehe...that was priceless. It reminds me of a thread at the Tundra Solutions message board where a guy lifted a 2wd 07 Tundra 9" on 37's and then incurred the wrath of many people who said he was stupid.

Tundra lifted 9"

They fit with no modification whatsoever. I bought the leveling kit and was ready to install it, but was not necessary. No rubbing at all ever.

Your truck already has a 'street'ish look goin on...I would drop the rear and go with the same tire. Most likely be cheaper than a lift, alignment, bigger tires, etc....plus for you since money is tight.

I like the look of that grille better than the Roush too.

You've already got the street truck look with the tires and rims, do the shackles.

yeah, and you just showed you're age.

Lower it and save your gas mileage since money is going to be an issue.

Good advice, although I might be inclined to modify it and say girls......
