Problems With My 04

I`ve been very pleased with my truck until now.

Truck went in for a starter problem About 3 wks ago. Had the extended warranty so it only cost me 100 bucks.

Then 2 weeks ago felt a clunking feeling under truck. Found the problem, It was the drive shaft. Sche`d a day to take it to the stealership. To check out the problem. 2 days before I take it in, I get in my truck start my truck and the battery sounds like its not cranking the starter. So I go to parts store to test my 2 month old battery and battery is fine. Ok called the stealership with the problem. They`ll check it out

Took it in on tues. Told the service guy to give it a tune up since they have it ,300 BILLS ! Said fine. I get a call later that day tune up is done. But ! Starter is fine it may been the fly wheel. And as For my clunking drive shaft they can`t test drive it because!!! The truck has a bad leak (brake line) One of my hard lines has a hole in it. Hmm!! MATERIAL & LABOR 398!

Got the truck out took it to the people that did my lift. Got it done for 124.00
and they also took care of my clunking feel.

Thurs. truck`s back in for the starter problem. - Lets see what happens-

Good thing about this. I still have about 5000 mile on my extended warranty. So for next 5 #%&* days I`m driving a free rental Ford -Focus !!

Just venting & Thanks for reading

Why are you paying so much out of pocket if it is under the extended warranty?

Chaz,
What are the symptoms of your starter problem. I have had a few times when I turn the key and nothing happens. I just keep turning the key or hold it in start position and then the truck finally cranks. It only happens occasionally so I am not sure what is going on. Any help out there is greatly appreciated.
