take off the step bars (you're young and dont need help stepping into your truck like an old man). and put a loud exhaust on it. then people will know you're young.

I was looking under the truck and it's not really that hard to take off the nerf bars now it is? I think it'll even make the truck a lil higher since it's not so close to the ground. All I need to take off the nerf bars is to unscrew for bolts on each side right?

ya it took me like 30 mins to take mine off. just had to unscrew like 12 easy bolts on each side and they come right off, it made a big difference in how my truck looked. im a young guy in college too.

...i was also once, more deservedly, accused of driving an 'old man's pickup' when i had a white camper shell on my '92 chevy

hey, it kept my amps and music equipment safe and dry!

Nope, I got a gallon of water, fishing poles, a fold up chair, cleaning supplies, and some other sport stuff.

So, it's not a tool box, it's a survival kit! Just tell her that and you're in good.
