I have an 04 XLT, with about 44K miles on it. Has anyone noticed any type of debris in the windshield washer fluid reservoir? Like little black flakes. It looks to me like the black rubber (or plastic) nut that sits inside the fluid is disintegrating. And I know it has caused some problems blocking the lines, had to use the compressor and blow the lines out.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this on their trucks.

BTW - I used regular washer fluid, no deicing, no bug remover, just regular blue fluid.
