Still working out the details on my install and the idea of the wilson roof mounts is one I still like.

A search showed a few of you had one, but no details on the install.
How much of a PITA is this thing to install? What are the chances for leaks afterwards? How and where do you run the coax?\

Thanks!

There is some good information in this thread:

You might also try a search using the term "antenna".

ok, just took out tail light and fished a pull string from there down the rear pillar incase I still want to go through with this.

Next question pertains to super cab. Is there enough space between the opening in the 3rd tail light underneath the roof for the wilson roof mount? The easiest place for me to go is directly in front of the 3rd light. There is a piece of metal in there with a hole for the brake light wires coming through. Not much depth and that is what is giving me doubt. Just hate to drill a hole and be wrong. Just checked and roughly 2 inches of flat space under roof infront of the brake light. Is this enough for the bottom portion of the 1000 roof mount?
