intermitted dieing

I've had my truck do this several times. I'll be coasting down a hill, doing 50-60.. just coasting, and my truck just for a split second cuts off, or loses power then cuts back on. The red light on the dash comes on, and the lights and everything flicker. Its like a small power outage...

anyone experienced this?

thanks in advance guys!

Chris

What is that "red light" you are talking about? The oil light?

no codes thrown. its just like a glitch. on my 05 ford, i have a red light on the dash in front of the driver. I think its the security light. almost like i'm not getting or losing contact on my battery terminal... it is a little corroded on one side.

That light is the pats key light. Clean you battery terminals and see what happens.
