SLC Newbie!

Hey what up guys! just found the forum. thought id share my truck.

2007 F150
XLT
4.6 Liter
All stock except a big red sticker on the back window. (adds at least 15 hp btw..

What im planning on:
3" leveling kit
20" KMC Rockstars black
33" Toyos
20% Tint
New Sound System

I guess you could say my family is truck nuts, espeially ford.
My dad drives a 2006 F350
Mom drives a 2007 F350
and on September 14th pops came home in my truck. Im still pretty shocked about it. Being 16 and driving this truck is pretty cool!

I'd go with a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit. 3" is too much, and it will make the *** end of your truck droop.

dang man sounds like you got a good plan in mind already, i have the 2.5 in level on mine thats all you need, no need for a 3in cuz then the front would look higher than the back and that looks bad, but congrats on the new truck man your gonna love it!!!

hey thanks guys! ya know i was pretty set on volkswagon but now that im driving this truck i can sure say i wouldnt want to be in anything else.

you say i can fit 33" with no rubbing?
and i should only get a 2-2.5" leveling kit?
i was looking at the ready lift, seems like a pretty good price but its 3". http://www.readylift.com/products/sfID1/9

one more thing. ive noticed that when im at a stop light or just idleing in park my truck vibrates pretty bad. think i should have it looked at or just let it break in? 741 miles btw.

but thanks guys, its pretty cool around here!

ps... any skiers post here??

Not entirely sure but I have read a lot of posts on here that say an AutoSpring 2.5" is a good kit, and I seem to remember them being around the $100 so that kit in your post seems sort of expensive ... hopefully someone who has one will chip in and set me straight if I have mis-stated
