Issues with door keypad?

Anyone had issues using their keypad on their driver door?

Lately, I can't use it at all, won't respond to any code I give it, including when I try to set it back to the stock factory code. It's got power, but just seems it doesn't recognize anything you enter.

Does that mean you changed the factory code to something else? I didn't know you could do that. How'd you do it?

You can't change the factory code. It just won't respond to anything, not even pressing the 7-8 and 9-0 buttons to lock.

It may have a short or a loose connection from the keypad to the door? Just something to look at.

You are supposed to reset your code to your own code. Don't leave it on the factory code. I have my truck and my Expedition coded to the same code.

You can not change the factory code. Even if you add another code, the factory code will still work. The code you add is in addition to the factory code.
