2009 F150 Platinum Edition

Interesting...

As announced in Sept, bye-bye to the Mark LT...hello Platinum Edition? Can't see much from the cloaked photos, unfortunately.

Dash looks a bit retro & not liking the console or shifter too much (when are they gonna get rid of the silver/gray plastic w/tan interiors?). SD style tow mirrors might look good.

Seats & leather/design of the console definitely look nice. The silver plastic on the console was something I hoped they get rid of in a future redesign, but looks like it's sticking around. It fits with dark interiors and on the FX4 & FX2, but clashes with tan interiors & the KR.

Guess the shorter throw shifter is OK, more sports/SUV like. If it can be leather-wraped that would be a bonus.

Coulda dropped this in the 2009+ sub-forum, I suppose, since there's already a thread started.

Those seats don't look right in that tan door trimmed interrior.

I'm with Nate... console and shifter aren't exactly chubbing me up.
