sweet, I have been looking at a hydrolic 5th wheel slider for mine but not ready to pony up 2K.

Haha the title of this thread just made me laugh. It sounded like someone saying "WATCH THIS!" (rednecks famous last words). That's a good looking rig though. How much does it weigh?

I'd like to see you do that with a recreational 5th wheel trailer. You could say goodbye to your cab.

It weighs 5000lbs empty. Loaded with 3 horses it's about 8500lbs.

Wow, that's a nice setup!

02SuperCrew is right, though. You're only able to do that because of the taper your trailer has up front. But still, it's nice!

Umm, Ford for one. Like has already been said if the front of that rig didn't taper towards the front you'd never move that without damage to the truck.

Shop around...most camper trailer manufactures are making 5th wheel camper trailers to work with the 5 1/2 foot bed. There's quite a few out.

thats awesome, now all you need to do is match the trailer wheels, paint em black..... no better yet thro matching moto metal's on it THAT would be sweet

who says you need a hydrolic one they make mechanical ones that work great my dad had one in his f350 that we towed our race cars in before we got the semi

Really? I guess it's a good thing I had the trailer built that way then.

The F150 wasn't designed to tow? I guess that's why they don't sell gooseneck hitches for them.

Why isn't it designed to tow? And why was it a waste of money on his part? Looks like that truck and trailer setup works fine.
