I think I'm getting a new shifter

I was leaving the hardware store toady, and when I went to shift into reverse the little chrome cap that goes on the shifter fell off. I grab the shifter by the top more than around so I think that has something to do with it. I called up my dealer and said I just need the cap and they said they just don't have the cap so they need to replace my whole shifter. Seem's kind of wasteful for a .50 cent piece of plastic. I feel bad for you guys that are out of warrenty and this happens to you.

That happened to my 05 a couple of months ago. the cool part is they replace it with a new updated shifter. The button works much smoother!

Just got back from the dealership. Took about 45min. While I was there I walked the lot and checked out all the new Super Duty's They also quoted me $350 a piece for the new side view mirrors.

Evertime I go there I return the truk to stock on the edge. It makes me appreciate it when I don't have it.

they should be able to work with you on the price of the mirrors. i bought mine from my dealer and i got them for $240 each. they make commission on sat's when they work so i bought them from one guy and he was able to work the price down and make the extra commission. worked out for both of us!!!!

Are you talking about the new towing mirrors? On the 07? Those would look good on a lifted rig I want some.......

Yeah the one's on the 07. Once mine is lifted I think I might get them. I'd get a better view and towing my trailer would be easier.
