I want them to work still, I just want them to go off when I apply my parking brake. Now that I have my HIDs its even more annoying. I'm talking when my truck is running, I leave her run alot, so that after 10 minutes any light gets shut off thing really doesn't help me out. I wonder why they stopped making it so you can shut off your DRL with your Park Brake.

do your hid's ignite with the lower voltage? or do they flicker?
you could just use a wire instead of the resistor, they'd be on all the time though.

My HIDs work fine I have a resistor for the DRLs. Thats not the issue. They are really bright and kind of a pain when the truck is just sitting there running. Which I do alot. I think there is no way I can have my DRL disable with my Parking Brake.

dont know any tricks to by pass the drls....but turn on the auto lamps....then using the three button computer thats right of the steering wheel you can adjust how long the lights stay on after you get out of the truck (read the owners manual or play with the buttons its easy to figure out)...from i think 15 or 30 secs up to 2 mins....i think the default setting is 30 sec or 1 min.

Thats only if you shut off your truck, and I leave mine running alot while its parked, which is when I would like to have my lights off.
