I think we are going to need more information. Where is the noise coming from? Is the truck in gear? Park?

troberts , lon long story but no i got a 07 screw black chrome package its pretty nice, it makes the noise when in drive and reverse only. its hard to describe the noise its not a belt like noise its like a vibration, sqeaking rattling type noise is the best way to describe it

For what it's worth my '05 needed a new belt within the first 1,000 miles .. it was squealing so bad I didn't have to tell the mechanics what was wrong with it when I took it in!

Slam your tailgate, see if that helps!

It's under warranty, why worry about it?

Where is it coming from? Mine was making a squeek, rattle in the drivers wheel area, seems to have gone away... Also, my cup holder rattles when it is cold...

Thats how I fix all my trucks problems. I just give the tailgate a good slam.

I'm new to the site, and i have an 04' F150. I have a similar sound, it almost sounds like a clacking i guess you could say. I have been told it is a bad timing chain tensioner. It only happens when engine is cold, then it quiets down, and if i hold break and play with the throttle i can hear it when the engine is on going back to idle but only when under a load. If i was you, i would take it to the dealer. I have 88K on my truck so i have to fix it myself, sucks but oh well.

I agree i would definetly take it back and make it known that you are having issues already and i belive that you have thirty days to return the vehicle at least in florida you do
