On a certified scale my truck weighed in at 5880. That was with my 325's on, full tank of gas (35.7gal). I was not in the truck I was in the office watching the weight pop up on the computer screen.

2004 FX4 super cab w/ 6.5 bed; I had 1 other person and a full tank (35.7 gallons)

This was around 1/2 tank gas and no passengers. Still seems heavy to me for a 2wd.

I'm gonna weigh it on some other scales.

If your asking where can you go to weigh your truck you can try a local junk yard (like scrap metal etc.) as they usually have scales. Some truck stops may have them. Look in the phone book as they may be a good source for where to find a weight station...

oh the last time i weighed it was just over 22,000lbs..fact like 22,340...but that was with me in it

Oh, and my new dump box trailer full of dirt....(could be what took my tranny out)

Most truck weigh/inspection stations have the scale working, even when there's nobody there. They do in Ontario anyway.

remember there are different models, different options, different aftermarket modifications, etc. though

some of the components will add up faster than i'd think
