Who's weighed there truck?

I was curious to see what people's trucks were weighing on here. I weighed my truck yesterday at a local scale and it said it was 6380. I thought that was really heavy and that something was wrong with the scale. I weighed it last year at a different scale and it was more like 5300.

So one of these two scales is off. Which one sounds more accurate?

This is an '06 Supercrew, 5.5 bed, 20" wheels.

I actually just dropped off a bunch of crap at the dump a couple of weeks ago. Mine was 5890 with no one in the vehicle and a half tank of gas.

I would think 6380 is more like it. No way is it 5300.

I weighed mine a couple of weeks ago on a certified scale. It weighed ~5600 pounds. With a full gas tank, the weight is closer to 5780.

2005 SuperCrew FX4, 5.4L, 5.5' bed, 17" wheels, no cargo/driver/passengers

There are many things that can cause different readings, such as if you were in or out of the vehicle, how much gas you had in your tank, what's inside the truck, but from those two readings 6380 sounds about correct, on our ranch we have a scale for our 18 wheelers and last time I weighed my truck it was somewhere around 6100 lbs without me in it.

My reg. cab short box FX4 is 5200 lbs with about 1/8th tank of gas.

Add my weight and a full tank of gass and its pushing 5500 lbs. Pretty pathetic for a reg. cab truck.
