Black box on rear wall keeps making clicking sound
Sorry, but a switch??? GHETTO!!! why dont you start trouble shootin man??? Is your remote wire coming off the harness? You could just wire the remote to the igniton fuse. Does your amp have a light on it for power on/off? If not check the amp with a voltmeter when you turn the truck off. I have a feeling your remote is not hooked up correctly.

hey when i installed my amp and digital processor, i took off the ground for that exact box to ground my processor on the same spot, it started clicking when i took off the ground, then stopped clicking when i put it back on... do you think i fried my processor? cause i havent tested function yet... also i didnt have the power connected for the processor, so it was just a ground and the power wire to nothing... could a ground surge through the processor and wreck shop up in there cause the power isnt plugged up?

I guess if switches are ghetto than half the people in this forum are ghetto.
You need to choose your words wisely. My statement was meant to be taken as an alternate route to fixing the draw if the guy has no experience or skills at that kind of stuff. Simply put a switch out of sight somewhere (i.e. under the dash or seat) and when you need the power supply just flip the switch.Sometimes that may seem too simple.

I mounted my toggle switch underneath the dash kind of closed to the obd II port. When I need it i just reach under and flip it.

Not starting a pissing match here but:
My wiring does not have a draw. It stays hot all the time because I have 2 chargers wired up. I dont have to use the chargers all that much so I just have a toggle switch so when I need them i can flip them on.
Because I don't drive my truck for sometimes 2 weeks at the time if it says hot all the time the battery will drain. So i installed the toggle switch to keep them from draining the battery.
