Exhaust Systems from Ebay

Has anyone purchased an exhaust system off of ebay from either "madhattergurl" or "magnumexhaust"?

Examples:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-07...spagenameZWDVW
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...spagenameZWDVW

They both have dual exhaust systems including Magnaflow or Flowmaster mufflers, prebent tailpipes, tips, and all hardware.

Just wondering if somebody has some experience with these and can comment on quality, sound, fit, etc.

Thanks,
CJ

Should be fine if thats what you really get, and they are really for your truck. its not mandrel bend, but its not the ugliest bends i have seen, more on the clean side if you ask me...

Hey Eastrick just so you know those are not true dual exhausts. They are catback SIDO (single in dual out) systems.
Mine is piped a little different than those in the pics are. Also mine required no welding. I have the Roush "Legal" catback SIDO.

Sorry, it's mandrel bent.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandrel

The mandrel allows the exhaust pipes to be bent into smooth curves without undesirable creasing, kinking, or collapsing.
The other type of "kinked/crushed" bend is pretty easy to recognize. While the bends might not be perfect mandrel they are definitely not close to being a "crushed/kinked" bend.

Yes, I realize it's not true dual. I don't really have the desire for a true dual system. I'm just looking for a little better sound. I have been kicking around getting one of these, a Magnaflow SISO or SIDO catback, or just buying a Magnaflow muffler and tip and having them installed using the original tailpipe.

I'm a little uneasy with these ebay systems because one of them says mandrel bent but show pics with the crush bends. The other says they can do mandrel bent but they want more $$ to do it.

I'll probably hit a few local shops and see that they want to put in a SISO or SIDO Magnaflow muffler and bend pipes themselves.

I've seen lots of threads on here about guys getting great instal deals from local shops. But, thats after they purchased the parts from ebay, criagslist or even the clasifieds from this site.
Good luck what ever you do!

I'd still like to hear from someone who bought one of these, if there is such a person on the forums.

I can't see the pics in the second auction, but in the first, the picture on the floor looks like mandrel bent pipes. Then under the truck, one picture (the tailpipes, by the spare) looks like smooth mandrel bends, but the picture looking back at the rear pumpkin looks like crush bends.
