transformer winch reciever

Just wondering, can you just use the warn transformer reciever and mount the winch to it without the grill guard. I was shopping around for a mounting system that would let me mount it higher than the bottom of the bumper without any kind of guard. Ideally I would like it to mount outside of the bumper at the same height that the warn hidden system is located. Sorry if this doesnt make sense. Ive been searching for a while now and cant seem to find what Im looking for.

Something like this?

Is this what you are looking for? According to the installation instructions it fits in the opening in the bumper.

you still need the portable winch mount to slide into the reciever, consider another 250 for the mount.
