I guess on a floor it isnt going to get worn as much it seems like it might. Only place that it would really get worn is where your heel rest and swivels back and forth from the brake to the gas.

And Im guessing it sure as hell doesn get abused like Im used to it in a truck bed....which I actually have yet to see ANY bed liner take up to any abuse we put a bed through in that case. The Herculiner just held up the worste of any Ive seen Im not a fan of it at all as you can tell

I understand, and Im not attacking you. Usually in a cab though shoes and boots with rubber bottoms are about the most wear it would see. I wouldnt herculine my bed as it is def not up to the same quality of the rhino I have in my bed. But compared to paint or another interior option it has worked well for me & its cheap and can locks out moisture and rust

I hear ya dude, there's no way I would roll my bed with any kind of DIY liner. I even gave Line-X a call to see how much they would charge to spray my floorboard and from the sound of it, it was gonna end up being up around $4-500 and I didn't wanna spend that much. I did alot of research on the Herculiner and I read alot of bad things about it, but I think it will be alright for what I'm using it for. Can't beat it for $100 I don't think.

Oh damn, 500 bucks to spray the floor. I thought thats what they about charged for a whole bed

I guess my personal experience and some other stuff Ive seen with Herculiner is enough to make me not want to use it....I DID use it on a subbox once...it worked ok for that

Scott we seem to disagree on a few things That what makes the world go 'round though, eh?

Said it would take a lil longer and be a lil bit tougher cause they'd have to do alot more prep work and wrapping to protect from overspray.

It would of been worth the $400-500 to spend on the Line-X. I would of told them I'd help them do the work to lower the cost as well.

My apologies for not reading the whole thread to this point, but I have experience with Herculiner, and I would not reccomend it...Maybe if you roughed the floor up really nasty like, then it would stick, but it peeled right off my S-10's bed after scuffing/degreasing it per their directions. It only took a pressure washer to remove most of it.

Thats the way I feel. Not really because the resale, because I've got some equity in my truck. I just don't want to get rid of this truck, I like it too much. Hopefully I can get at least 250K out of this motor and then go custom after that maybe. Good luck with your project man I'll be looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

If you are having trouble adhering the hurculiner to the floor you could try some of THIS STUFF It would kill alot of road noise and i've heard very good things about it. Hell you could probably scrap the hurculiner and just use this.
