I was driving home from my gf's house saturday night adn my truck just stalled on me. check engine light came on so i took it into the dealer and they said it was my throttle body. good thing it went out now. 800 more mile and im out of warranty. Anyone else have that issue??

 

I had that issue... a simple cleaning fixed it.

 

When my truck was new, 1200 miles on it. It started flooding, would not shift to overdrive and the wrench light came on. I limped to the dealer and they said it was the throttle body and replaced it. That was 54,000 miles ago.

 

Mine would idle down when stopped at a light until it died. Kept taking it in to the dealer only to hear them tell me it was "nothing" Then one day the RPM's shot up to about 5.5k so i shut it down and restarted it, and it FINALLY threw a code. Then the dealer replaced it under warranty.
