I am leaving on a 2600 mile trip tomorrow morning and just discovered I can't download the software.

I loaded all three programs into the STC module no problem. Named them and they show up on screen. When I plug into the car select then select any of the programs to download I get the following message:

ERROR -ECM not supported.


Please help if you have any advice. I am leaving tomorrow morning at 6am.

That sounds to me like a PCM strategy code mis-match. What type of tuning device, btw?

Was your truck ever to the dealer, after you ordered your tunes?

What strategy code did your report to TP? You can use your device to read the strategy code of your PCM now, to confirm it's the same one the tunes were written for. I'm just thinkin' out loud here....

Given the timing, it's not likely you will get this resolved before you leave, so just go with the stock tuning and deal with this when you get back. Just send 'em a quick email or leave a voicemail before you go to alert them.

Stuff happens; I had a DOA Xcal2 first time around.
