***Ground Side Switched Headlights***

Do our trucks have "Ground Side Switched Headlights"? Reason be, is that I just ordered a multi pattern headlight flasher for my truck, and I didn't notice till now that it said "Does not work on vehicles equipped with Ground Side Switched Headlights". I'm not exactly sure what that is so just wondering if I threw $40 out the window.

Thanks for the link to Galls capn

Not sure if the F150 is ground switched or not but what it means is that the switch completes the circiut (and turns the lights on) by grounding them. In other words the wire going through the switch is the ground rather than the positive. I am pretty sure your truck is positive switched but I can't say 100% for sure.

If you mean Ground Side Switched as in how some door latches work, the answer is no.

Ground is connected to the bulb connector, and power is what is switched.
