Unhappy 9/8/7 the day i said goodbye

Well my buddies and I went out salmon fishing I had caught 7. Was doing great, 'cept I had a and a horrible headache. So I asked my girlfriend to drive home....

All 4 passengers were alright short of some minor scratches and bruises. Guess she hit some water and started to hydroplane, next thing I know all of us were in a very expensive rollercoster that spins around rolls, twice and lands square in the middle of the other lane on a separated highway.

The two other guys are fine but she is taking it pretty hard...she knew how much I love that truck...but I dont know what to do to help her out. She is devistated...Ive been telling her its replaceable and the good news is that everyone is still alive! Anything else I can do?

Damn that looks BAD,, glad you were all OK, and that's all that matters. The Truck can be replaced, people can't. One thing youcan do is show her the responses you will get from your posting, that should make her feel abit better about the situation.

Holy Jesus, that's gnarly. And a testament to how well these trucks are screwed together.

I'm sure your girlfriend feels bad about your truck, but it ain't nothing that can't be replaced. It could have been a lot worse...like someone in a coffin worse.

You could ask her to help you pick out a new one to replace it...

And time will help her get over the accident.

Truly a blessing that you are all OK. If it were my wife, and she was worried about me missing the truck...... I'm sure we'd be able to take it out in trade to make me, I mean her, feel better....

wow that looks bad ,but good to hear everyone is ok ,my gf is really paranoid about driving my truck too ,but i have told her a thousand times its only a truck i could car less if something happened to it as long as she is ok,like everyone else said a truck can easily be replace ,wifes,gf's family ,friends can't be ,if the truck was a full custom with paint lift rims etc etc then i might be able to understand alittle but my truck is pretty much stock ,all the parts can be bought again so no big deal

Thankfully you all came out of that OK! Like Quintin said that's a testament to how rock solid these trucks are. There's no doubt in my mind that if you had been in a Dodge, Chebby, or Toyo your group would be at least one less or the injuries would have been far worse.

We all like to complain around here but when it comes down to it these trucks have it where it counts.

BTW your girlfriend will be OK in time. Once you replace the truck and she see's how happy you are, she'll come around.

Accident are called accidents for a reason. It just happened that she was driving, nothing further than that.

Honestly, thankfully she was driving if you were not feeling up to par. That spot would have been there whomever was wheeling. Who's to say if it would have been worse if you were not paying attention due to your feeling bad.

I get migraines all the time. If I am somewhere, I am hating that drive home as well. I pay little attention driving like that but that is another story itself.

EDIT: Now you have a good reason to check out the 08's.

Plus I would milk that for some hot monkey loving. JUST KIDDING !
