Metal is replacable. You and your girlfriend aren't. I know she probably feels bad but it is better then you guys being dead. I am sure a new Ford will look pretty in your driveway. Just tell her to take it easy and recover from the accident, you so the same.

well since I'm going through a divorce I won't comment on who's replaceable or not...

but... bringing her along to pick out the new one helps I'm sure. You already know how they drive... so let her test drive it

nasty... sorry about the truck, but the fact that all can out out relatively unharmed is a miracle

trucks are VERY bad for hydroplaning... with my wide flat tires, i find myslef losing traction constantly on the highway during a heavy rain. just tell her that it is very easy to lose it in these trucks...

Wow! That looks bad. Reminds me of when this guy went off of our road a few years back, and went into a spin and landed straight in our yard. He was driving a Ford Escort. The guy who was driving it, only suffered from bruises and some cuts. All I gotta say is that you were lucky.

Makes me love my F150 more and more.

I doubt she would think that because "these" trucks will save he life if that happened again.

Thank God you all are alright!! Cant believe no one was hurt worse than they were! You can get a new truck anytime....not so easy to replace the gf. Same goes with my girlfriends they never want to drive it cause they know how much I love it but it wouldnt bother me in the least if they did that to it, as long as they were ok.

Wow glad to hear that everyone came out of that with minor bruising and scratches only, you all definitely had someone looking out for you.

Just keep telling the GF what you've been telling her all along, that it's only a truck, it can be replaced. Then take her along and let her help you pick out that new 08 that you're going to be getting.

Glad to hear you all made it out of the accident with just minor injuries. Keep reminding her that the truck can be replaced...
