***Foglight help***
Alright so today I decided to take off my foglights and clean them out due to alot of moisture and dirt that has somehow gotten in there, As I took em off I noticed that theres algae growing in them both at the bottom where the lens seals to the foglight housing(probably from the bottom half of my truck being suberged at the ranch after heavy rains), anyway I sprayed water in there to try and clean em out, well I spraying most of the chrome off the inside, there kinda like harley fogs now
, anyway my question is does anyone know how to take the lens off? And would just a regular chrome spraypaint work to redo the inside of it? Or am I sc***ed and have to go buy new ones?
Edit: Also anyone know how much they cost new? FoMoCo, not aftermarket.......

I just picked up fog lights from www.getfordparts.com. I'm adding factory fogs to my truck. They were under $40 ea. only problem is, I don't know if I have all the pieces. since you just took yours off, can you answer a couple ?'s for me?
I have the bracket that attaches to the bumper with 3 bolts. But what holds the foglight to the bracket? It has the 3 adjustment screws with the black plastic nuts that fit into the bracket, but it's not a tight fit and the fog light is loose. are there supposed to be nuts on the adjustment screws on the backside of the bracket? Any chance you could take a pic?

You shouldn't have ANY moisture, dirt or the like in your fog light's housings. It's a bad seal... most probably from the factory as my dealership's SM said they had issues with several '05 models.
I had the same issue with my DS fog and it was replaced - no questions asked - under warranty.
