Why not paint the whole mirror and be different? Painting just the caps to me says "Hey I ran out of paint."

i really think theyd look pretty strange entirely color matched to the truck. a cap painted would be anice touch.

i have them on my truck, they are very nice when towing large items. the bottom part of the mirror make good blind spot mirrors as well. i do have a hard time going through the drive through, the mirrors stick out too much

Do these lights also have blinkers on them? How hard was the install? I need more pics!

I love mine, they are great towing my enclosed trailer. I think the trucks look mean with those mirrors, plus they have the signals that look good.

So just paint the back of the mirror part and leave the "arm" untouched. I think that would look great.

I spotted a KR with a painted cap over the weekend - I have a picture that you guys would love but I dont know how to upload. Someone tell me and I will post. Also if anyone has painted any mirrors share the cost. I have been to 2 body shops here in Tampa and they want around 200 just for the caps.

What is the measurement from the door to the end of the mirror when retracted? Garage door is a little narrow.

Thanks
