High-Pitched Whislte??

well the best way i can explain the noise im hearing is as a high pitched whistle.

as i accelerate more it gets more high pitched but once i shift it goes down to a steady whistle

if i turn the radio on to lik 2 bars it masks it.

but i use to only hear this on cold starts in the morning during winter

now im hearing it constantly just about.

any ideas?

Window? Top of the grille? It could be a lot of things. It's hard to diagnose problems like this. Warranty? Hit the dealer up.

well it sounds like its coming from my drivers side, somewhere below the height of the bottom of the steering wheel

Throttle body? Mine did the exact same thing in the cold.. 06' F-150 with the 5.4... Anytime it got cold out it would do it, and my truck's intake was completely stock..

Sounds to me like the wiring from your system, I believe if theres a wire grounding or to close to another wire will cause that whine........
