That's just impressive. Gotta get some pics of the front end, I'm curious as well about the CV angles.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I got the tires from a friend back in Louisiana who has given up on a project he was working on, thats why they were so cheap.

I get no rubbing at all with this set up and also the ride is awesome. I will never own another set of Mud Grapplers as long as I live.

I drove the truck around in a cleared lot for about 20 min in 4 wheel drive and also on pavement for about 2 miles. I have had no probs yet.

I will try to get some pics of the CV shafts and also the leaf hangers in the rear.

Oh and I live in Spring Tx. If you are near by we can hook up

Nah, I've done everything on my truck right in my driveway.
I guess you can say I am mechanically inclined

I always heard Texas was a bit different but here in Cali it's illegal to solicit sex on the internets.

Definitely get some pics of the hangars, cv's, etc. I no longer enjoy driving my truck, at least not as much as I used to. What was it about the grapplers that made you happy to leave them behind?

Since day one they would not balance. They made my truck sound like a crop duster, wore really fast and shook violently. They were also not very forgiving on bumps.
I have had Super Swampers in the past that cost a lot less and still performed better than the Grapplers both on the road and off.
I think Nitto made a crappy tire when they made the Grapps

I agree! They remind me of concept tires you see on vehicles at the big auto shows like Chicago and Detroit. I've never owned any, but have ridden in and been offroad in trucks that have them. Honestly I don't think they work very well offroad and on the road non-radial Super Swampers ride and sound better.

Nice job on your truck by the way... it's a little overkill for my taste, but none the less, it looks good!
