I took a look at the kit - but why would you want to relocate the filter? It's not that hard to remove and replace.

Where are you going to relocate it to?

A memebr galaxy has pictures on a remote filter install. he mounted his in the spot you want to.

Maybe this link will work to his gallery Galaxy link.

I always get a little side tracked on his GF pics

I bought one thinking (due to specs) that the threads would be the same on the remote mount as on the engine adapter. I opted not to use it since I could not use the OEM filter due to thread size and possible warranty issues. Just my choice.

Actually I can get to the filter MUCH easier now that I took the mechanical fan off and have the electric fan installed.

Yeah, I could barely find the filter relocation pictures. LOL

Anyways, I've bought TransDapt oil filter relocation kits before, but the flow through the ports was, in my opinion, terrible. I returned it to Summit and bought a PermaCool brand from Jegs. The PermaCool was a little better, but still not great.

On my current truck I bought this off eBay.

I don't remember how much extra I paid, but I had them make me stainless braided lines to my length request too. The quality is awesome. I've only had it on my truck for about 2 months, but it's a very nice product.

UPDATE: ok I did some research and the kit takes a Fram PH8A filter so i cross ref and the purolator L30001 will fit this relocation kit and from what i understand the motorcraft filter is made by purolator and it has a antidrain back valve.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of my install. This is the guy I bought it from on ebay...

It doesn't say what brand it is, but the machining and finish is very good quality. It uses a FL-1A as well. Since the FL-1A is slightly larger than the FL-820S and there's a few feet of hose, I use an extra 1/2 quart of oil when I do an oil change.
