You have to do what makes sense financially for you and your family. But some guys have a good point with interior room and flexibility between the Expy and the yukon. We had an 01 Yukon Denali and the interior room was decent, but removing that darn 3rd row and putting it in the garage was a pain in the ****! I like the interior of the 07 Yukons, but I can't believe they didn't address the 3rd row so it can fold into the floor. I Have 2 kids and we will be working on 3rd and thats why we went for the 07 expy. We got the captains chairs for the 2nd row and the power fold seats that fold into the floor was one of the biggest advantages. We basically don't have any loyalty to any car manufacturer and we will buy anything that is the best value and best quality for our family, but the 07 EXPY was by far the best SUV out there and this is comming form a family who had a Lexus GX470!

Congrats and good luck and again you have to do what makes financial sense.

Wish I could be of more help, but I'm not too familliar with SUV's.

I can say that my wife drives a fully loaded 2007 Eddie Bauer Explorer... power running boards, moon roof, navigation, rear DVD, power 3rd row seats, etc. It's a nice vehicle, but nothing too special in my opinion.

My manager drives a 2007 Limited Expedition that's loaded too and it's a much nicer vehicle than the Explorer. I'm just over 6' tall and i've rode in the 3rd row seat for about 45 minutes and it's plenty comfortable back there.

Good luck.

Hey Guys,
Dont get me wrong i really appreciate all the comments and info. Thats why I posted this thread. I am waiting on the call when he Yukon comes back from being detailed so I can go see it. When looking at the Denali I puropsely sat in all seats to see how the fit was(Im 6' go about 185lbs) and didnt seem to have any problems. Didnt go for an hour ride back there but passenger shouldn't be an issue. Cargo room however is the concern. Never really used the bed of the truck very often at least not consistantly, just want to make sure a stroller will fit.

As for the wheels they are staying on, only thing being sold will be the edge tuner.

Let us know when all is said and done.
Speaking of the 3rd row seat...here in Ca. the #1 item theives are stealing are the 3rd row seats and selling them via e-bay and swap meets. The News said the price to buy them from the dealer is $ 3,000.00 each.

I put the baby stroller in the bed, you can just tie it down if you don't want it to fly anywhere . The truck has plenty of space for a car seat in the back. The first months of having a baby you think you need a lot of space, But in fact you don't. The extra money you are going to spend on the new SUV, put in a college fund, your child will thank you for it. Congratulations for your newborn. Babies are lot of Fun

Just put a mobile over the bed of the truck and let all three kids crawl around back there. The bedsides are high enough on the F-150 so they shouldn't escape.

Problem solved.

Hell, just add a topper and fashion a redneck LATCH system back there. Maybe open the rear slider to let some A/C back there too!
