We have an [almost] identical truck and I think they'll look awesome!

Please post pics if you do.

Yeah, I ordered a set only to get an email in the next few days that they couldn't ship them because Hella recalled them. I called Hella and apparently the housings weren't sealing right. They couldn't tell me when they'd be fixed or when you could order them. I just ordered the OEM Harleys, I don't have time for Hellas problems.

But yet you've got time for HID problems.
Hope you are NOT puttin HID's in them.
Get ready to blind folks or aim them WAY down if you are. When you aim them down, you will kill all the advantages of having HID anyway....

Hellas are well worth the wait AND the extra money.

Did you ever use your HIDs with the HD housings?

PS: They have to be aimed WAY down anyways!

Yep, I tried those HDs and the ones off the FX2. (Got a friend that owns the Ford dealership back home) We swapped them off the "lot" trucks to test with. Basicly all OEMs suck with HID.

Yeah, I bet you must aim them way down with your lift!

Check the other thread. I answered that one.

Hella has great customer support. If you have an issue I can set you up with CS at Hella. I'm on the second set, without issue.

TG150, have you tried the HID in the projectors...?

If it was me, I would order these HIDs:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-C...spagenameZWDVW

They are hands down THE BEST for you application. They match your arch to were you bulb filiment was. So they fit perfectly in the OLD spot your bulbs would. This helps to insure that your optics stay in line with the stock placement of the bulb. Plus you keep your HIGH/LOW beam. Then I would try them in your projectors FIRST! If they suck, order the hellas. Easy!

Also they have all the relays in wiring you need. Except an H4 socket, you'll need that from the parts store.

Try them in the projectors, you have nothing to loose sense you already have them and nobody has tried them and posted on it.

1. Get the HID from the vender I recommended. (H13 bulb at whatever color temp you like)
2. The kit will come and install it in the projectors.
3. You'll need the H4 socket, the HID kit plugs into this, this must be wired into you existing H13 socket. (this will make the high/lows beams work) I can get the wire colors if you need them. I've forgot them now.
4. Wire up the "hot wires to the battery" wire up the "ground wire to the ground green bolts" to the located on both inside fenders just behind the headlights up top.
5. Test them by parking in from of your garage or a wall about 101 inches back from your front wheels. See if you get a good "cut off" with the light...

Post your results, lots of folks would like too see these in the projectors.
I've seen a few pics of the projector cut off, you maybe able to pull it off!
Keep us posted!

I ordered the fogs last week last i tracked them they were in bejing.lol..How did they arrive for you..UPS? USPS? etc. Auction says 3-5 days delivery..it's been about 5

That's not completely true on their part.... it is NOT plug n play. Yes, on the H4 and yes on the splicing. Mine took about 5 days... USPS.
