I will make a decision at the time if I am interested in a 2009 or a 2010, but I like my truck so much right now, I may just keep driving it. I have 53,600 miles on it and may see what I can put on it in 10 years.

Most likely probably not. Since next year we are going to be upgrading from our 05 Focus (currently has 55000 miles) to the 06 Jetta TDI (currently has 21000) that my parents currently own (they trade every 2 years). Also I am most likely going to have to get a different work truck sometime in the next couple of years, most likely a used F250/350 4X4 diesel to replace my 94 F150.

As of right now my 04 only has 39,9XX miles on it, and this year I have put 2,800 miles. By the time that this truck is paid off, 2009, it may have 50,000 miles. So it really wouldn't be worth getting rid of it and starting payments all over again.

Nope

I don't think I'll be getting a new 2009, I bought my 2007 as a long term vehicle, after she is payed off, I want a Mustang GT Covertable, as a second vehicle, I'll always keep the F-150 as a tow vehicle for toys......& household chores.....Heck after the trip I made to Home Depot yesterday, I could never be without my SCREW..........

Eh, I am already thinking about new trucks even though I don't plan to bring one home until 2010. I am thinking long and hard about the separation between daily driver and tow rig and have decided my next truck will be nothing smaller then a F-350. With all the current BS with the diesel program though, I'm not convinced my next truck will even be a Ford though. As it stands right now, I am totally in love with the new GMC HD trucks, I think they are much more cool looking then the wannabe freight train super dutys.

I have also been looking at bigger trucks, like the International 4000 series trucks. Big enough to haul everything, small enough to not need a CDL. Plus they are cheaper then a loaded super duty. It would probably be better for me in the long run to buy one of those for towing/work, and buy a new ranger or maybe a mazda 3 to daily drive.

I'll probably get a 2010 or 2011 model year truck, i don't want to get them the first year so they can work the bugs out.

I'm not quite sure what I want. My current F150 is doing what I need.... so it's fine... but I know when I get more jobs and stuff, I'll eventually need a F-SuperDuty to get the job done right.

The F-150 is a great family truck or medium duty hauler. Anything HD should be classified in the need/realm of a F-SuperDuty.

I might be in the wind for a 2010 SD TD.
