water temp gauge

well im starting to invest in auto meter gauges i bought a water temp gauge tonight but havnt even looked under the hood, is there a plug you can take out to put the sending unit in? and where?

also what about oil preassure that is next where does that sender go?

i put in a water temp gauge and this is what autometer sent me in an email.

Look at the drivers side of the engine block, from underneath the
vehicle. Below the last freeze plug there will be a threaded in
adapter.
If it requires an allen wrench to remove, it is then a standard
3/8"NPT/
If it requires a box end wrench or socket to remove, it is then a 16mm
x
1.5 thread size and if you are installing an electric gauge, you may
use
a #2268 adapter.
