gas peddle help!!

Hi I just purchased a 2007 f 150 supercrew cab, and I'm 6'2" and I do alot of driving and my foot seems to be cramped. Went to dealer to see if I could get a adjustable peddled they said no, It would just make it come out further not back further!! I have my seat back all the way too, now I'm having foot pain. Does anyone have this problem?? Any solutions???? Thanks John

Move your heel position every so often....Use cruise control whenever possible.... lubricate all the moving parts on the throttle linkage and pedal assemblies.......

Haha I feel ya man! I am 6'4" and it took me a while to get used to it. Try raising your seat higher to give your leg more support and take some of the pressure off your foot. Hope it gets better for you!

I'm 6 ft, and I know that problem. I tilt the front of the power seat up to lift my knees.

How about the differences in pedals? I think the brake should be more even. I know this screws up my reaction time.

When I first got the truck the positions of the pedals took some getting use to. I have the adjustable pedals and they really don't help. I think they help for shorter people, but not us people that are over 6ft tall. All you can really do is play with the seat position.

I've got the power seats. I move the whole seat up with the front higher than the rear. And, I use cruise control a lot.

yeah man im 6'3" with an xl so no adjustable seat besides forward and back, no adjustable peddles and no cc. It just takes a little getting used to. My biggest problem is that my ankle rests along the floor cup holder, im pretty sure im going to have a bruise there for the rest of my life.

I'm 6'2" and have no pedal issues. My seat is always all the way back and down. I rest my foot sideways though, always have.

Uhh, I'm 6'1" and never had any problem in the three '04+ trucks I had. Also, EVERY F-150 regardless of trim level has a tilt wheel. Get ready to lose your *** on the trade-in of that thing. Let us know what the end result is.

EDIT: Oh yeah, it's P-E-D-A-L. Peddle means to sell something (i.e., peddle your wares)

Sounds like you may have a issue with your foot maybe? I have heel spurs to begin with, and I find my heel tendon tightens up after driving also. Do you have heel pain in the mornings, as you first get out of bed?
