new leather interior

Well I finally installed my leather set from www.leatherseats.com (great company to work with). It took me about 8 hours (I did it little by little). Much improvement over the gray cloth....what do you think???

Looks good. Vast improvement over the cloth covers. Just a couple things I would have done different.
1st...I would have made all of the inserts in the back be the same. Either all three silver or black, not mixed.
2nd..No way would I have embroidered their logo and website address into my leather covers (unless I'm getting paid for it).

But then again its not my truck.

Like what was said above.

My concern with those covers has been with their cost, I feel they should be full leather, and from what I can tell on their website, they are leather faced, meaning the backs and sides of the seats are Vinyl, or some other cheap material. Can you verify if they use full leather? If so that just bumped those WAY up on my to do list...

I do like the fact that they can do logos though. I want my business logo on my headrests. So it can be seen through the windows with the truck parked and all...

Thanks guys...I will address some of the questions

They are not 100% leather, but no leather set you get is - unless you pay alot more for it....

The logo - I guess you can say they paid me for it. The set runs 750 (I have been working with this company alot) I got the kit for 200 shipped - as long as they can put their logo on it......and I do a full write-up for them on the install.

As far as the insert in there rear, that is just how they come and since I was getting a deal - I did not customize them much.....

That makes sense. Sounds like you got a killer deal for the 200 clams.

Thank you...I agree...for that price, I have not problems having their logo there. Since I was installing it myself, a write up was easy too.

While it will take me longer to afford, I am willing to pay more to get the right stuff. And yeah, I know even O.E. leathers in a LOT of vehicles are leather faced.

One other thing I noticed was the wrinkles on the center armrest. Have you been able to work that out or is that the way it is going to be?

I just put that on yesterday - most of the interior was wrinkled, untill the sun hit it for alittle bit.....so I in a few days, she should be wrinkle free!!!

I was interested in buying a set just like that from them off eBay but they wouldn't budge on their price (for me), very friendly though. They look great, good job.

I would love to get the part for the 20 section and the console. That way I don't have to buy an XLT console.

In the F-150s that come equipped with leather seating, the seating surfaces are the only leather portion on the whole seat. The rest is vinyl. In fact, in a Supercrew with leather, I believe the whole back seat is vinyl of some kind. That's specifically why Ford says "leather SEATING SURFACES" on their window stickers, not leather upholstery or something along those lines.

Nonetheless, those covers look nice and are a VAST improvement over the factory cloth interior. Looks like you installed them with a lot of care too. Good job!
