Edge Idle Adjustment

Edge Idle Adjustment
When making custom adjustments on the Edge tuning, will adjusting the idle adjust at what RPM it idles at IN GEAR? In other words, if you put it in neutral I know it adjusts the idle there, how about the idle in gear? After cleaning my throttle body I'm wondering if I tweaked the TPS because now there is a lot of pressure against my brake pedal when braking, the truck wants to GO. Why does the idle speed only go to +300 iirc?

Josiah, I see you decided to clean the TB, major improvement right? My truck had the same feeling there for awhile today but it starts dying down and idling normal later. Im guessing maybe its the Carbcleaner getting sucked into the IP? It should go away soon. And the edges idle settings is only for when not in gear

Without the A/C running my truck had a rough idle while in gear. It persisted even after having the PCM flashed. I made adjustments to my idle setting with the Edge. Rough idle is now gone. Adjusting the idle with the edge does make a difference while the truck is in gear.
The adjustable increments on the edge programmer refer to RPM's over/under the truck's current PCM setting. i.e. if the current PCM's idle is set at 600 RPMs and you input +125 on the edge, your new idle is 725 RPMs.

same here, mine is idling right at the 800 to 850 while in gear.
