Is this covered under warranty?

I have recently noticed that the black rubber around my window appears to be dry rotted or something. it is blistering and and very dry. I tried some back to black stuff that i picked up from a friend that does professional detailing, but it still looks terrible. Also, the black plastic at the front of the windshield is all grey and discolored. Would this be covered under warranty?

36k/36 month warranty or extended? You have to ellaborate on which warranty since there are about 50,000 warranty companies.

I know i extended the warranty to 75k when i bought it, but im pretty sure that it is a ford warranty. When i go in to get my oil changed it is all covered.

you have what's called the maintenance warranty. If you're still under 36/36 then yes it's covered... it not, then you're on your own unless you can convince your garage to AWA it.

Powertrain covers powertrain components only... hense the name.

Probably not unless it fails at its function, leaks scratching window, cracking.

EDIT:
Wouldn't hurt to ask the sesrvice writer.

Disagree.

I've used Back-to-Black several times with great results.... you just have to be carefull with it and not touch more than you're suppose to.

Does what it's suppose to... and does it very well.

I wonder if the cowl area is covered under the 36/36000? The area under my windshield wipers has turned white due to the sun my milage is at 33K.
