So basically everyone who has tried aftermarket COPs has had a problem with them! Sounds like an awesome product. . LOL! JK

For what it's worth, I did the MSD 6AL ignition box and MSD coil on my Mustang, but IMO it was money wasted. The stock ignition setup would have done just fine in my naturally aspirated setup, even though I have aftermarket everything from intake, injectors, fuel pump, heads, exhaust etc, and all supporting parts.
So, as Quintin mentioned, unless you have a blower or nitrous setup, it's money wasted because the OEM ignition system does the job just fine.

I used to use MSD 6a's in all of my applications, prior to computer controlled ignitions. The PCM overrides anything the MSD tries to do, pretty much doing nothing. I tried it on a '95 Tahoe and it did nothing... called MSD customer service and the dude said "... well maybe you'll see an MPG boost, maybe..." No way did it do anything.

It did kick-*** on my old '69 Chevelle, though

Yup, I've got a full MSD ignition system in my 65' Mustang. It helped but newer vehicles the gains are nill.

Ok,

I have enough. I'm going on to "Mods that make Torque". My sled needs a big push to get going.

Thanks.

What motor do you have? Regardless get a tuner, it's going to be your best bang for your buck. .

5.4

I'm saving for Dynatech Headers, X-pipe, True Duals First.

Then I'll get a Tuner, do some datalogging, and get a custom tune.
