I'm not sure if this is the forum to be listing your truck in, but I would say your truck is worth about $18K-$18.5K max considering the mods/miles that you have. Realistically, I would say an offer of $17K is probably the best you can do if you are selling it to a private party. If you are trading it in, I would say around $13K-$14K.

You can roughly estimate it's worth 1/2 what you paid for it. With all the incentives Ford & GM use to sell their trucks, it kind of screws the guy looking sell his a few years later. My truck KBB's for less than 1/2 of the sticker in 3 years.

As far as all the accessories, take them off & sell them separately. No matter what ANYONE tries to tell you, accessories do nothing for the value of a used vehicle. Unless that individual wants the particular item you have on your truck, they aren't going to give you an extra dime for it. About the only items I can think of that will actually raise the value are: spray in bedliner (I would actually offer LESS for a truck with a drop in plastic POS), HARD tonno's, & a cap. Big wheels & tires, intakes, mufflers, etc are not going to pay off in the long run so take them off & sell them separately.

KC-10 FE out...

This may or may not be a shocker to you, but dealerships aren't going to give you squat for the mods. Sure they may bump up their offer slightly for them, but they aren't going to give you what you paid for them. I was looking at a 2008 F250 Lariat diesel last week and considered trading mine in, that was until I saw their offer for my truck. The trade in value (checked it on kbb) was $21,800 and their initial offer to me was $22k. I immediately told the salesman there was no way he was getting my truck for that amount. The highest they'd go was $23,500 so I walked out.

Before I left they told me by lifting my truck I actually devalued it. They were going to give me less because I lifted it, yet when I called them on a lifted F250 that they increased the price by $8k the guy said "well we have to charge the customer for the kit". I told the guy that I paid for that lift and not them and I wasn't going to let them make the profit off of it.

I'll give you my four best hello kitty stickers, a button, and 25cents.

No, but seriously, if I had to estimate the price I would go between 18 and 19

Copy what wxscpo said. either strip the mods and sell them seperately or check them off as a loss. You won't get a dime for them. Learned that lesson three trucks ago. I had a nice audio system in it. I said after the deal was done "just out of curiosity how much of that price was the audio system?" He said "None. If you want it, go take it out and put it in your new truck before you leave." So I did.+

For price I'd go with trade in value on kbb.com If you want another price to check nada.com has quotes as well. However theirs lists low, med, and high retail. so you can take $1,000 - $2,000 off of that price on a trade in.

Please do not try to blame the fact that vehicles depriciate in value very fast on the economy. Cars and trucks have always depriciated in value for a very long time. If you are looking to get a return on your money then you need to invest it in something other than an automobile.

Why does lifting a truck de-value it?

I think it may be because the market for stock trucks is bigger than moded trucks..., so the demand for a lifted truck is smaller.

This is exactly what the salesman told me, not a large demand for purchasing lifted vehicles.
