05 Screw 4X4 brake pad/rotor question!

Went to the local auto parts dealer this weekend to pick up some Wagner Thermo-quiets. Have about 43k miles on the truck and thought it was probably about time to replace the pads. Have never heard any grinding or squeaking juts thought it might be time.

Anyway, the guys at the store thought: 1) it was too early to replace the pads and 2) that is I was going to do it I should also repalce the rotors, even though they are in good shape.

Do you guys agree about the rotors?

Thanks in advance!!!

No, not if they are above minimum thickness and not warped. If warped they can be turned as long as, again, they do not go below minimums. Most of time I replace pads, I do not even have the rotors turned. Never had a problem.
