Pansies.....

I bought my '05 SCab on August 20, 2005 (or so...call it Sept. 1)

I only drive it Monday through Friday, because it's my office.

I turned over 130,000 last Friday on the way home; that's about 6K per month, or 1,500 per week (it used to be 1,800 per week, but I have been flying out of town about a week and a half per month and it sits at the airport)

You girls oughta drive your trucks...that's what they were built for.

Nothing -- it's paid for!

Just to kind of fill you in, my truck was purchased with the express intent of being nothing more than a "toy" to take out for a spin on a nice weekend afternoon. Heck -- it's never even been out in the rain at this point! I fully intend to keep it for the rest of my life (I'm in my early 40's now) and then pass it along to my son (he's 18-months right now) one day as a pristine, low-mileage example of a truck from this era.

And I will be doing this whole scenario over again later this fall when I intend to buy an '08 Mustang GT and do the same with it as my F-150.....

Nearly 50k on mine. Picked it up April 2004 with 16 miles on it. Only problem I had was a power steering pump leak fixed by the dealer and bad rotors replaced by the dealer at 5,000. Since then, no problems whatsoever. Not even creaks and squeaks.

I had one injector puke out at about 32,000 miles, and I had to perform the TSB for the front axle solenoid at about 56,000. Interestingly enough, I think I may have to do it again, I've started to occasionally get one front axle trying to kick into drive...makes a helluva racket at 80 mph.

Still burns absolutely 0 oil between changes (every 5K, Valvoline Synthetic) and delivers a steady 18.2 mpg.

27,4xx miles on my 2006 right now. Drving back and forth to work everyday is really adding up those miles. Also did a 3600 mile family vacation and I go to Millington, TN 2 to 3 times a year and that's an 850 mile round trip for me. Lots of miles, but I'd say 80-90% of them are highway miles.
