HID install help PLEASE!

hid's are compleatly leagal the install them in high luxery cars such as lexus,bmw and so one i have a manual in front of me but its not for your system but this setup is showing pig tailing black to stock ground and red to stock constant power dont forget if you have your highbeam switch on you wont get power to your fogs

well i gave up and brought the truck to a stereo shop and they finished the install for me. Light output is very good...one of my fav mods. hard to get good pics b/c of the glare, but heres some...kit is 4300k in both headlights and fogs

TY for your reply..Ok so far someones got the 4300k and someone has 8000k. What does everyone else have..whats the majority? are there only 2 people in the whole forumn with HID's? cant be..

Hella and 6000K HIDs here.
Only issue I've had was the stock housing... once I switch to the Hellas no more issues.

How do the hellas stop the glare? just by having the part next to the reflector painted a matte black stops glare? if i didnt like chrome so much i would get a set but im not sure how black headlights would look on my truck Oh BTW pics in siggy

well i have the grey FX2 headlights, and i still have glare...not a very good cutoff, but still bright as hell. So im guessing its just something special about the hella headlights...not just the black, b/c mine is grey. Shouldnt be that big of a difference

looks like you are missing a cable. Mine are from flashplus on Ebay and there is a cable that splices one headlight control and connects to the battery and those plugs go directly into the other end which have the same type of connection. No splicing they just plugged into each other.
just went on ebay and found the seller and think ill buy a set but i have a question. Will they work or interfere with projector headlights with angel eyes? this is the set i have. ty for all replys

no it will be fine, all you have to is swap the Halogen H13 bulbs with the new HID ones.. along with athe hard ware to such as the ballast.... its very easy,...

awsome..TY i think ill get a set. I guess ill go with the 6000k my projectors say the angel eyes are 6000K maybe theyll match..thanks again.
