oil question
I recommend peanut oil because of it's high smoke point.
Use whichever you want, as long as it's a 5W20. Use a good filter, one with an anti-drain back valve like a Motorcraft FL-820S. Change it regularly and don't think so hard about oil.

My thought is this you didnt skimp on buying a cheesy truck (cough cough Tundra) so dont skimp on the oil buy whatever makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside without any doubts and roll with it As far as filters GM's go with the Delco filter, FoMoCo Motocraft filter, Mopars umm I really dont know this one for sure but anything other than FRAM! Im sure the ricer trucks can go with a roll of TP.
