Tire pressure help

Im heading to outerbanks noth carolina on friday and was wondering what air pressure i should run for a long rode trip. im running 285/70/17 bfg all terrians. Any one that could help me out i would appreciate it.

Ahh, unless you have different load-range tires than what came stock, why wouldn't you run what Ford recommends (by way of the sticker on your door jam)?? If you HAVE gone to heavier l/r tires (such as stock P's to l/r D's), then you're ok to inflate a little more. I have non-OEM l/r C tires, and I run them at 38psi when not towing, and 50psi when towing.

I run my 285's at 45-50psi.

BFG's website shows those are a Load range D tire. Run them at about 45 all the time. Do not go lower than 42, except on sand or mud for traction.
