new to this, side step question

im new to this but i want feedback on wether or not i shoudl take my sidesteps off i think it will make my truck look taller thxs -mike

I did the same thing on my 99 F150, but personally I'd don't care for the look of the new body styles w/o their running boards, just my opinion..

I took them off my 05 and I made sure my 07 did not have them.I dont like them one bit myself.

Took em off my 01 and made sure my 06 didn't have em . Take those suckers off.

Even before I put on the 2.5" AS and the 18" rims/tires, most of my family thought my truck was hard to get into w/o the steps. Now that I have them, I'm the only one that doesn't use them. But it's habit for me, I really should use them too and stop doing the "stretch and hop" to get in my drivers seat.

Yes it will. You're 18, you can handle it. Maybe get a power step for the pass side for the ladies. Or you can give the ladies a little help getting in.

And... ALWAYS walk around and open the door for you lady friends. It's a lost art. They will appreciate it. Chances are if they are your age nobody has done that for them. Be a real Gentleman. I'm 26 and still get that "look" when i do that.
