Post pics of supercrews with 285 or 295 width tires

I'm trying to decide on what set-up I'm going with when I replace my tires. If you have a Supercrew at STOCK height with 285/70/17 or 295/70/17 or the 18 inch equivalants please post pics.

I recently read a post that said the largest tire you could put on an 18" rim was 285/65R18 without rubbing. If that's true or not, I have no idea.

What is that in inches, about 32"?? The 295/70/17 is a 33" tire and I think that is too big to run with no lift. I was looking at the 265/70/17 which is a 31.5" tire. I would like to go bigger but I want no rubbing.

I have 275/70R/17's which is 32.16 inches and no rubbing at all.
The pic in my sig on the ice is with the stock 255/70/17's. I'm looking forward to seeing how these new Destinations handle the ice this winter since I put them on at the end of last winter and never really got a good chance to test them out in deep slush or snow.

Is your front end raised? From the angle of the pic's, it looks higher than stock.
Nevermind, you have a 4 wheel drive which is higher than a non 4X4. I don't think i would have the clearance in the front like you.

Nope, she's bone stock, other than a little meatier than stock tires, chrome coloured 4x4 decals and a stainless tailpipe tip.

I had my 285/65R18's on the stock Lariat wheels on a 4x2 with minimal rubbing (full lock in reverse) before the level kit. With it, no rubbing at all. They are 32.6" OD.

Got any pictures?

You can fit up to a 295/70(65)/17(18) on the stock rims on a 4x4 with no rubbing. I know of one member who had Terra Grapplers on his stock 4x4 and he said he had no rubbing what so ever. I just want to see some more pics of trucks with those size tires.

How do your tires handle the snow? I see you're in Colorado so you must experience your fare share of snow. As is common knowledge, the wider the tire, the worse they handle snow. I would imagine your 285's would handle just fine, but I don't think I'd want to go any wider.

I just got the tires in May, so they haven't seen the snow yet. We had 2 huge blizzards here this past winter that would have been a great test for the tires. I imagine they will be excellent in the snow.

I got mine right after the blizzard in December. Cut through the snow fine and did pretty well on ice once the sipes opened up a bit. The Bridgestone Revo's on my neighbors F150 are a little better but don't come in the size s you mentioned.
